EQ3 is the first helmet to be developed in the EQ3 generation.
Our team of designers worked with the rider in focus to ensure a perfect fit and maximum safety.
The EQ3 is equipped with the MIPS Brain Protection System, which is a rotation system that provides significantly increased safety against brain injuries.
The MIPS system mimics the safety system already present in the human head. When the head is subjected to an oblique blow, the brain is able to move in the cerebrospinal fluid, which reduces the violence to which the brain is subjected in an oblique blow. The MIPS system is the yellow moving shell you see inside all Back on Track helmets.
EQ3 is a riding helmet with good ventilation thanks to the large air holes located at the front of the helmet. Smooth top is durable and gives a shiny finish. It is easy to wipe off and makes it easy to keep the riding helmet clean and fresh.
The liner in the riding helmet is removable and made of Coolmax which wicks away moisture. The liner can easily be washed clean with lukewarm water.
The riding helmet is approved according to the new safety standard CE VG1 01.040 2014-12.
The riding helmet comes in fixed sizes and is available in sizes from 53 up to 61.
Technology
MIPS stands for Multi-directional Impact Protection System and is a system placed inside the helmet, designed to protect the brain by reducing the harmful forces in the event of a fall from e.g. horse and bicycle. Read more about MIPS.
Coolmax® is designed to keep you dry and increase your comfort. Made from specially treated polyester fiber with a unique surface construction that transports moisture away from the skin out through the outer layer of the fabric.
