The Horseware Micklem Multi Bridle is a versatile, anatomically designed bridle that combines multiple functions into a single bridle. It can be used as a standard bridle with a bit, a bitless bridle, a lunging cap, or a halter, making it a flexible option for riding and ground work as well as lunging and daily handling.
The bridle is made of buffalo leather with soft padding over the headpiece and noseband for high comfort. The Micklem design is engineered to avoid pressure on five sensitive areas of the horse’s head: the neck and ears, the molars and the inside of the mouth, the infraorbital nerves and the lower part of the face, the nasal bone, and the tongue. The design is engineered to reduce unnecessary pressure and provide the horse with a comfortable, anatomically tailored fit.
The contoured headpiece helps relieve pressure on the neck while leaving ample space around the ears. The noseband is shaped to sit higher on the horse’s nose, thereby avoiding the more sensitive part of the nasal bone and reducing pressure on the facial nerves.
A D-ring in the center of the noseband provides a stable attachment point for lunging and allows the bridle to be used as a lunging cavesson. With the included components, the Micklem-Multi Bridle can also be used bitless, offering additional options for adapting the bridle to the horse, training method, and situation.
The bridle features solid brass hardware and comes with adjustable Bit Lift Straps/Bit Clips for further bit adjustment.
