The Horseware Micklem Competition Bridle is an anatomically designed bridle that combines a stylish competition look with high comfort and well-thought-out pressure distribution. The bridle is made of soft leather with stainless steel hardware and is designed to provide the horse with a comfortable and anatomically adapted fit during both training and competition.
The Micklem design is engineered to avoid pressure on five sensitive areas of the horse’s head: the neck and ears, the molars and the inside of the mouth, the infraorbital nerves and lower face, the nasal bone, and the tongue. The well-thought-out construction reduces unnecessary pressure and gives the horse better conditions to remain relaxed, focused, and responsive to the rider’s aids.
The anatomically shaped headpiece is designed to reduce pressure on the neck and provides ample space around the ears. The contoured noseband sits higher to avoid pressure on the more sensitive part of the nasal bone and minimize impact on the facial nerves.
Soft padding adds to the comfort, while the adjustable bit straps allow you to customize the bit’s position to fit your horse. The bridle can also be used with Bit Lift Straps or Bit Clips for even more customization options.
