Rhino wug 250gr vari-layer is a practical outdoor rug with a vari-layer technology on two different layers with fiber filling!
The rug is made with a 100GR lining on the sides and 250GR over the back to concentrate the heat on the horse's back and rump muscles. This is to focus on the muscles that start to compensate when your horse gets cold and starts to freeze. A cold horse will easily start to tense its muscles to compensate for the cold, while a warm horse will maintain soft and relaxed muscles. The Vari-layer is therefore excellent when you want to ensure a warm back and loin, but not risk overheating.
The blanket consists of a 1000 Denier polypropylene outer material while the inside is lined with anti-static and anti-bacterial polyester lining that prevents chafing and helps to maintain a healthy and shiny coat. The rug also has an ergonomic V-front snap that distributes and reduces pressure on the shoulder and gives the horse greater freedom of movement than the classic shoulder snap.
