Rambo® Supreme Vari-Layer 250GR with removable 150gr neck is a high quality outdoor rug with 100% waterproofness and good breathability!
The Rambo Supreme series is superior in the Horseware range and one of the most qualitative blanket brands on the market.
The inside of the blanket is based on a Vari-Layer system with thermobonded fiber filling; 100GR lining on the sides and 250GR over the back to concentrate the heat on the horse's back and rump muscles. This is to focus on the muscles that start to compensate when your horse gets cold and starts to freeze. A cold horse will easily start to tense its muscles to compensate for the cold, while a warm horse will maintain soft and relaxed muscles. This Rambo Supreme is therefore excellent when you want to ensure a warm back and loin, but not risk overheating. This design also means that the blanket weighs less and therefore relieves the horse's back of pressure and weight.
Rambo Supreme consists of an outer material called ballistic nylon of 1680 Denier. Ballistic Nylon is one of the strongest materials used in horse rugs and textiles for its resistance to tearing, abrasion and waterproofing. Between the outer and inner material there is a micro-thin layer called aquatrans which is 100% waterproof and wicks steam and moisture away from the horse. This self-invented variant of "aquatrans" is only used by Horseware.
The inside of the blanket consists of a silky polyester that is manufactured with an antistatic, gloss-enhancing and antibacterial treatment. This makes the blanket less static and inhibits bacterial growth.
The rug has an ergonomic V-front closure that distributes and reduces pressure on the shoulder, leg cuts and a surefit neck design for optimal freedom of movement when the horse is moving, playing and grazing. Also available are reflective strips, wipeable tail cord and three removable belly straps with the Rambo® Safety Surcingle System that releases at 100 kilograms of pressure should the horse get stuck. Neck included that attaches on and off with two heavy-duty Velcro straps on the outside of the rug to prevent chafing. Excellent for chafing-prone or sensitive horses.
