Rambo® Orginal from Horseware is a 200gr blanket with extremely high quality of durability and durability and therefore also has a 3-year guarantee on its waterproofness.
Rambo Orginal consists of an outer material called ballistic nylon of 1000 Denier. Ballistic Nylon is one of the strongest materials used in horse rugs and textiles for its resistance to tearing, abrasion and waterproofing. Between the outer and inner material there is a micro-thin layer called aquatrans which is 100% waterproof and wicks steam and moisture away from the horse. This allows the rug to retain a high level of breathability and wicks away moisture if your horse gets too hot.
This self-invented and potent variant of "aquatrans" is only found within Horseware's Rambo rugs. The inside of the blanket consists of a silky polyester that is manufactured with an anti-static, shine-enhancing and anti-bacterial treatment. This makes the duvet less static, inhibits bacterial growth and reduces the risk of chafing.
Although Amigo Bravo blankets have a higher denier (1200D), the durability of ballistic nylon 1000D is significantly higher. This is because ballistic nylon is a stronger base material and already possesses a higher resistance than polyester. This applies to everything such as resistance to tears, rain and normal wear and tear.
200gr thermobonded fiber padding; which is a type of polyester fiber that has been heat treated. The fibers are "fused" at contact points so that the filling is airy, smooth and retains its shape. Unlike untreated fillings, it does not clump as easily when washed or used.
