MeoTemp is a smart temperature sensor designed to measure the temperature directly under a horse’s blanket. By monitoring the temperature closest to the horse, you gain a better basis for assessing whether the current blanket is the right temperature or if the blanket needs to be adjusted based on the weather and conditions.
The sensor continuously records the temperature and displays the current, highest, and lowest temperatures from the past 48 hours directly on the display. This allows you to see how the temperature under the blanket has varied during, for example, cold nights, warmer afternoons, or sudden changes in weather.
MeoTemp™ requires no app, Bluetooth, internet connection, or charging. The information is read directly from the sensor’s display when you’re with the horse. The battery has a lifespan of up to approximately six months, making the sensor practical to use throughout a longer blanket season.
The sensor attaches to the inside of the blanket using the patented MeoLinq™ twist-and-lock system. The fastener is designed for textiles and holds the sensor in place without damaging the blanket’s material or disturbing the horse.

How warm a horse gets under its blanket isn’t determined solely by the outdoor temperature. Wind, precipitation, sun, the horse’s coat (including whether it’s clipped), individual differences, and the type of blanket used all play a role.

HOW TO USE MEOTEMP
Attach the sensor to the inside of the horse’s blanket using the twist-and-lock fastener.
Let the sensor measure continuously while the horse is out in the pasture or standing in the stall.
Check the display to see the current temperature as well as the highest and lowest temperatures over the past 48 hours.
Compare these readings with how the horse feels under the blanket and use this information to help you choose the right blanket thickness.
This makes it easier to detect, for example, if a blanket has become too warm during the day or if the temperature has dropped significantly during the night.
