Amigo Foal Rug Ripstop 9 200gr is Horseware's latest foal rug with a unique "grow function" that allows the rug to expand with the foal. There are also different buckles that can be customized to your unique foal.
Can be used directly from birth both as a stable and outdoor blanket. The blanket consists of a durable ripstop polyester fabric with 900 Denier in abrasion resistance, which provides the blanket with good breathability and waterproofness.
Unique adjustment system that allows the blanket to grow/expand as the foal grows. Can expand as much as 15cm in length, around the belly and for the shoulder. Reflective details at the back for increased visibility.
Ripstop is a unique construction of fabric where thicker threads are integrated into the fabric in a classic grid pattern. This provides optimal resistance to large or small tears in the fabric while maintaining a low weight profile to facilitate the comfort of your horse. Ripstop also has other properties such as its chemical-free manufacturing, good breathability and wind and water resistance.
The rug has a straight front buttoning and shaped leg arches to give the foal maximum freedom of movement. The inside is lined with anti-static, anti-bacterial and shine-enhancing polyester lining to avoid chafing and maintain a healthy, shiny coat.
