Even if you have a really good water source, bacteria and biofilm quickly form in water cups, buckets and water troughs.
Hippofix drinking water purifier works in the water where horses drink, in the cup, bucket or water trough. It prevents the growth of bacteria and the sticky biofilm and adds oxygen which gives a fresh smell that horses like.

Effect:
Horses drink more water even if you have clean buckets that are refilled often = Perfect for performing horses and to reduce the risks of colic, among other things.
It will be easier to clean cups, buckets & water troughs. You and any staff can spend much of that time on other things.

Hippofix drinking water treatment is based on a uniquely stabilized hydrogen peroxide that has been produced against other industries for over 25 years.
It is food-grade and is also used for other human uses, such as the water system in dental chairs to prevent the growth of bacteria and biofilm in the water and water pipes.

We humans drink like a chicken compared to a horse and we believe that it is more important for a horse to drink cleaner water. Also, more bacteria are added to the horse's water cups than to our water glasses and water can remain in a water trough for several days where sometimes several horses dip their mules.

Biofilm forms on the inside of the water trough where the bacteria thrive. With Hippofix drinking water purification, the sticky biofilm does not form in the same way and the water trough is therefore also easier to clean.

Purifying water to improve water quality is not a new phenomenon, as water significantly improves human and animal health and development. Ordinary drinking water in Sweden is usually purified by a combination of techniques and is considered clean, although deposits on the inside of water pipes and biofilm in water containers contain millions of bacteria and viruses.

How to use it
Hippofix water purification is dosed directly into the water where it works to remove bacteria, viruses and biofilm.
