Vitamin C in the form of sodium ascorbate is a water-soluble vitamin that acts as an antioxidant in the body. Its main function is to support the immune system, contribute to increased circulation and promote the formation of collagen which is important for the horse's skin, tendons and cartilage. Horses can produce vitamin C themselves in their bodies, mainly in the liver. However, certain circumstances may require additional vitamin C supplementation, such as periods of stress, illness or during intense exercise. Young, growing horses or pregnant mares may also have an increased need.

Contains 100% Sodium Ascorbate which is tasteless and in salt form. This form of vitamin C has less impact on acid formation in the stomach compared to ascorbic acid.
DOSAGE
A dosage measure is provided in the jar.
Use as an extra boost when needed.
Give vitamin C for a maximum of 3 consecutive months.
Storage: Dry. Room temperature, avoid direct sunlight. Close the lid tightly.
