Find out your horse normal temperature by measuring a few times when your horse is healthy and is at rest.
Temperature of a horse is usually between 37.5 to 38.2 degrees Celsius.
start:
Press the button. The display first shows 188.8 followed by Lo, 37.0 and Lo again visible in the window and flashing C. The thermometer is now ready for use. When the measurement is done the thermometer beeps. It takes about 30-40 seconds.
To turn it off:
Press the button to exit and save the battery, otherwise it will automatic shut down in about 8 minutes.
cleaning:
Clean the thermometer with soap and warm water. Avoid taking the hole thermometer under the water.
Changing the battery:
Unscrew the two screws and pull the handle.
