Pelham has rings to attach two pairs of reins, one pair at the mouth and one pair at the bottom of the shank. This gives an effect similar to that of riding on canes.

Some riders, who find it difficult to handle two pairs of reins, use a delta which is inserted into the two bit rings, one rein is then attached to the delta. The Pelham 55 has the shortest shank in the Bomber range (55mm), it provides less leverage and pressure on the neck than a longer shank bit. Supplied with cheek chain and hooks.

Bomber Blue is a unique mouthpiece that gives great results with most horses. It has a port that provides freedom of tongue. The material used makes the bit light and increases saliva secretion. Particularly suitable for horses that object to metal bits.

Like all Bombers steel components, the wire inside the bit and side parts are covered by a lifetime warranty. This mouthpiece is not suitable for horses that bite on the bit. The bit is therefore not covered by warranty or right of complaint if the damage is caused by the horse biting the bit.

Bombers bits are made in South Africa and are completely handmade, which gives you the unique opportunity to choose how every little detail of the bit is designed. You can choose the type of mouthpiece you want, the type of rings/shackles, the thickness of the bite and whether you want different lengths on the right and left sides of the mouthpieces. The mouthpieces are made of sweet iron and brass, shaped to distribute the pressure over a larger surface, rings/handles are made of stainless steel.
