Egg bites prevent the horse from being pinched in the lips/mouth by the bite rings and provide a more stable feeling against the horse. Egg bites make the bit lie still in the horse's mouth. Snaffle is a popular bit due to the curved mouthparts that distribute pressure more evenly over the tongue and lips.
It reduces the nutcracker effect which results in the horse lifting its head and therefore offers a solution for the horse running with its head down. Ultra Comfy Lock Up has been designed to suit horses with very sensitive mouths. The shape follows the contour of the tongue, the joint has a double locking function to ensure that the angle over the tongue is maintained correctly even when the reins are shortened, but at the same time the right and left reins can be used independently of each other.
Bombers bits are made in South Africa and are completely handmade, giving you the unique opportunity to choose how every little detail of the bit is designed. You can choose the type of mouthpiece you want, the type of rings/shackles, the thickness of the bit and whether you want different lengths on the right and left sides of the mouthpieces.
