Egg bites prevent the horse from being pinched in the lips/mouth by the bite rings and provide a more stable feeling against the horse. Egg bite keeps the bit still in the horse's mouth.
Happy Tongue is a stable mouthpiece.
It is curved with a port that provides maximum tongue freedom. This is by far Bomber's most successful design - recommended for all young horses and those showing sensitive signs. The 4 available gates have been scaled to each width. This ensures a precise fit across the lanes and eliminates the gapping that occurs when the gate is too wide. The Happy Tongue is also available as a straight mouthpiece which is slightly stronger.
Bombers bites are made in South Africa and are completely handmade, giving you the unique opportunity to choose how every little detail of the bite is designed. You can choose the type of mouthpiece you want, the type of rings/shackles, the thickness of the bite and whether you want different lengths on the right and left sides of the mouthpieces. The mouthpieces are made of sweet iron and brass and are shaped to distribute the pressure over a larger surface, rings/handles are made of stainless steel.
